The European Documentation and Information System for Education (EUDISED), a multi-lingual, computer-based information storage and retrieval system, has passed through four major stages of development: (1) the initial feasability studies; (2) elaboration of the thesaurus of subject listings; (3) field tests; and (4) experimental operation. A working committee on EUDISED standards and format met in February of 1976 to discuss implementation standards, design specifications, and problems with data interchange. (EMH)
