The book, "New Voices: Student Political Activism in the '80s and '90s," is reviewed as a good but outdated treatment of student political activism. Three main weaknesses are the following: (1) only a White liberal viewpoint is given; (2) the activism of non-White students is neglected; and (3) the geographical treatment is skewed to eastern campuses.
