The 2007 Annual Meeting of the Association for Continuing Higher Education was themed "Refining Our Mission: Continuing Education's Role in Engagement, Outreach and Public Service." Opportunities were available to participate in sessions relating to outreach, partnerships and public service and perspectives on this theme were presented by the keynote speakers. The structure of the conference was changed to facilitate more opportunities for participating in professional development through networking. Sessions were offered for both the experienced and novice in the field of continuing education. Part I summarizes four keynote addresses: (1) The Next Generation: Access and Opportunity in Continuing Higher Education (Christopher Dougherty); (2) Leaving the Ivory Tower: Engaging for University-Community Success (Lee Todd); (3) Realizing Our Mission: Why Continuing Education Must Lead the Way (Suzanne Morse); and (4) Changing Role of Continuing Education (Belle S. Wheelan). Part II includes concurrent sessions: (1) Adult Education Graduate Programs: Where Art Thou? Part III includes business meeting information in nineteen appendixes.
