This publication is part of a continuing series of reports on public broadcasting. The report includes statistics on financial, employment, broadcast, and population activities of 154 stations in the aggregate United States for the 1974 fiscal year. Information is compiled relating to capital expenditures and direct operating costs. Also examined is employment status with relation to sex and minority groups. Data are presented in eight figures with 37 tables. Appendices include definitions of selected terms and organizations, surveys, and a list of stations on the air as of June 30, 1974. (AP)
