Based on resolutions passed at the state meetings, a National Plan of Action was proposed. Members of the National Conference of Women then met in Houston, Texas to vote on the Plan's 26 resolutions which covered such items as battered women, child abuse, credit, disabled women, Equal Rights Amendment, reproductive freedom, and rural women.
