Mamitua Saber presents the Philippines as a case study of the processes of cultural integration. Mario Zamora writes about the cross-cultural themes and values of the Asian aged as migrants to America. Choong Soon Kim discusses the implications of culture and values for U.S. foreign policy formation, with particular emphasis on relations with China, Korea, and Vietnam. Karri Fritz relates cultural anthropology to the development of international law, while Lynn Thomas relates anthropology to trends in international relations. In the final article, C. D. Macaulay demonstrates how anthropological theory can be useful to international relations. An epilogue, by Indera Singh, underscores the significance of universals of human culture.
