This publication presents the current approval status of the 45 public and non-public colleges and universities in North Carolina that offer programs leading to initial and advanced-level teacher certification. Specific approved programs are listed for each college or university. Also included is information on the current status of the two teacher education consortia in North Carolina. A brief description is given of the program approval process and approval criteria. Appendices contain specific information about related state requirements. (JD)
