The Minnesota Higher Education Coordinating Board annually publishes a report of enrollments in Minnesota post-secondary education. The enrollment data presented here were provided by Minnesota public and private postsecondary education institutions in fall 1987. The 1987 enrollments are compared to the preceding four years. This annual report, the fifth one to be generated from the student record database, contains the following five sections: (1) fall 1987 headcount enrollments with a 5-year summary of total headcount, of full- and part-time enrollment, of male and female enrollment, and of new entering freshmen; (2) fall 1987 institution enrollment reports; (3) full-year equivalent enrollments and average daily memberships and a 5-year summary of full-year equivalent enrollment and average daily membership enrollment; (4) enrollment by county of residence report by system; and (5) new entering freshmen participation ratios to high school graduating seniors. For each section, the state university system, community college system, technical institutes, University of Minnesota, private vocational schools, private two-year colleges, private four-year colleges, private professional schools, and state totals are considered.
