Part of the Project CAREER guidance component, this manual presents career preparation analysis charts called "careerograms," visual devices which synthesize information contained in the "Dictionary of Occupational Titles" (DOT) and the "Occupational Outlook Handbook." Designed for use by counselors of high school students or adults, the careerograms present abstracted occupational information in chart form, and are arranged in 15 occupational clusters: Agribusiness and Natural Resources, Business and Office, Communications and Media, Construction, Consumer and Homemaking, Environment, Fine Arts and Humanities, Health, Hospitality and Recreation, Manufacturing, Marine Science, Marketing and Distribution, Personal Services, Public Service, and Transportation. For each occupation, the additional job titles, job definition, hours, average earnings, total education and training requirements, high school courses of study, aptitudes, physical demands, interests, and temperament are given.
