The data published in this report were collected in accordance with the 1974 Maryland plan for the desegregation of public post secondary education institutions. This volume includes student related statistics for Fall 1976. Information is presented on applications, acceptances, and actual enrollments at the state colleges and universities. The counties of residence of enrolled students are indicated. Also given are data on financial assistance awards, degrees granted, student progression rates, and the reasons for students not returning to the campuses in Fall 1976. Ethnic categories studied include: black, Indian, Hispanic and white American; "foreign'; and "other/unknown". Brief summaries are offered of the statistical data. (GC)
