What Will You Do after High School? How to Develop a Placement Program for High School Students.
Wilson, Charles E.
Using a hypothetical example of how a job placement program was developed in a small, rural community, this booklet is intended as a guide to aid local high school systems in the development of job placement programs. Written in a question/answer format, it focuses on four major objectives of a job placement program: To provide information to students about jobs available within the region; to provide information to students about jobs outside the region; to provide assistance for students who desire to go to work; and to provide students with spot labor opportunities, such as work after school or on Saturdays. (This booklet is one of several focusing on the development of different components of a career education program.) (BM)
