This article describes a meta-analysis of research on school integration in Israel. The analysis addresses the effects of the ethnic composition of fourth- and sixth-graders. Representations of conflict in reported dreams of 24 Israeli, 26 Bedouin, and 27 Irish children aged 8.5 to 11 years reflect characteristic coping processes of the dreamer.
