Israeli Teachers' Outlook on the Necessity and Feasability of Teaching Values to Advantaged and Disadvantaged Children.
Schwarzwald, Joseph; And Others
Journal of Psychology, v101 p3-9 Jan 1979
Examines 70 Israeli elementary school teachers' attitudes about teaching scholastic, social, and personal values to advantaged and disadvantaged children. As hypothesized, teachers rated such instruction more necessary for disadvantaged than for advantaged children. Teachers' dogmatism scores correlated with attitudes about the need to teach social values to both groups. (RL)
