Teachers' (n=78) and students' (n=2,347) perceptions of actual and preferred classroom environments were compared in 78 sixth grade classes in 43 schools in Israel. This article describes a meta-analysis of research on school integration in Israel. The analysis addresses the effects of the ethnic composition of fourth- and sixth-graders.
