This report contains 1971-72 data for 90 senior institutions and 47 junior institutions, for a total of 137 Illinois institutions. The data in the report are presented in two sections. The first section contains the senior institutions and the second section the junior institutions. Space limitations demanded that the sub-bachelor's degrees and awards for the senior institutions be combined under a single heading of sub-bachelor's. The data are reported in terms of both the number of degrees and the percent of the state total the degrees represent. Separate bases have been used for senior and junior institutions for computing percents. Thus any reported for senior (junior) institutions really is the percent of the total for senior (junior) institutions in the State. (Author/PG)
