Technical Assistance as Part of Routine Inspections of Family Child Care Homes.
Wilkes, Deborah L.; Lambert, Richard; VandeWiele, Laura
Early Childhood Research Quarterly, v13 n2 p355-72 1998
Examined efficacy of supportive technical assistance to increase compliance with licensing standards among Georgia family child care providers. Found that both the control and experimental groups showed significant gains on posttest compliance, but providers receiving technical assistance scored higher on posttest compliance than the control group, and providers with the lowest pretest compliance made the greatest gains.
