Georgia Health Policy Center Child Policy Briefs, 2001.
This set of briefs discusses state public policy and implications as they pertain to children in Georgia. The five briefs each address a single policy issue: kinship care, dental care, child care, special health care needs, and school health practice in Georgia. Each two-page brief provides background information on the issue, details the types of prevention and intervention programs available in Georgia, presents information on strategies to address similar problems in other states, and offers recommendations for improving Georgia's capacity to respond to the needs of children and their families.
