A study that compared selected knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and practices regarding acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) of 102 allied health and 134 nonallied health students found that both groups had cognitive deficits and misconceptions. It showed that a higher level of educational preparedness with respect to AIDS is needed. (JOW)
