This report provides educators and the general public with statistics about education in Connecticut's 165 public school districts during 1983-84. Statistical summaries for each town describe community characteristics, superintendent's office information, enrollment of pupils overall and by major sub-group, proficiency test results, program offerings, staffing characteristics, funding, and expenditures. The report is divided into six sections: (1) Connecticut State totals; (2) Towns that operate school districts (listed alphabetically); (3) Towns that do not operate school districts (listed alphabetically); (4) Regional school districts (listed numerically); (5) Endowed and incorporated academies and E.O.
