In the fall of 2012, the Donnell-Kay Foundation conducted a survey of Colorado's superintendents and charter management organization (CMO) leaders to understand the pipeline challenges faced by district and charter leaders in the state. The results of the survey found particular challenges with recruiting, supporting, and retaining qualified leaders for school turnarounds.
