This curriculum guide contains learning module outlines for teaching a series of courses in sheet metal working in high schools in Alberta. Each module provides learning experiences selected to develop basic competence in the sheet metal trades. Each module consists of an introduction, objectives, learning resources list, content summary, and a number of topics, each with a generalization and concepts/subconcepts related to learning tasks. The modules cover the following topics: a general introductory course, pattern development, welding and joining, sheet metal work, heating and air conditioning, cabinets, and special topics, on three levels.
