Summary statistics for the fall of 1976 on application and registration patterns of applicants wishing to pursue full-time study in first-year places in Ontario universities are presented. This report is the fourth in a series of annual reports that began with admissions in the fall of 1973. Statistics deal only with applicants processed by the Application Centre who were applying for fall entry into full-time study in first year of post-year five programs. Tables provide numbers and percentage increases of applicants and registrants for 1973 through 1976. Data are provided on active applicants and registered applicants by program grouping, educational background, age and sex, areas of geographic origin, and country of citizenship and immigration status.
