Investigated incidence of eating disorders among 584 women living in university residence halls and differences in prevalence rates between single-sex and co-ed floors. Results revealed a significantly higher incidence of bulimic symptomatology on co-ed floors than on single-sex floors. (Author/NB)

Baker, Paul Morgan – Small Group Behavior, 1983
Describes factors affecting the development of mutuality of attraction in natural small groups, and tests the hypothesis of the acquaintance process in 41 female residents of three floors of a university dormitory over the course of a year. Two floors showed definite increases in dyadic mutuality over time. (JAC)
