Christensen, Carole Pigler – Counselor Education and Supervision, 1984
Investigated the effects of cross-cultural training on counseling trainees' (N=31) empathic response, attending behavior, and anxiety during interviews with a Black client. Trained judges rated videotaped excerpts of trainee performance. The overall results indicated no significant difference between treatment and control group trainees. (JAC)
