Perceptions of Female K-12 Educational Leaders in California: Transitioning from Classroom to Administration

This study examines the perceptions of female administrators in California's K-12 schools. The research will explore the perspectives of female administrators in California, tracing their experience through their professional journey from classroom teaching to administrative positions. A comprehensive analysis of questionnaire and interview data on women in education across different administration positions will be conducted. This study will investigate the factors influencing the decision for females to move into administration and explore the reasons behind the transition, shedding light on their perceived obstacles and factors that impacted their decisions. Data collection will involve a questionnaire with optional interview, providing insights into how female administrators in California view their current profession.
