Seeks to measure nonformal education's (NFE) contribution to the obtainment of skilled blue-collar employment on the basis of data collected from job seekers at eight factories in two large cities in northeastern Brazil. Of the variables considered, NFE alone proved to be a significant predictor of job acquisition, but within limits. (Author/BRR)
