Observations of "Love Talks:" A Successful Community-Supported Sexuality Education Program in Austria
Wilgen, Julie Mapes; Kapella, Olaf
American Journal of Sexuality Education, v3 n1 p19-26 May 2008
Sexuality education integrated into math, economics, and computer science classes? Parents participating with teachers and students in working groups to plan sex ed programs in public schools? Eight- to ten-year-olds publishing their own book "Don't Talk to Us about the Stork"? Does this sound utopian? Actually, it is a reality in Austria and several other European nations, where the comprehensive sexuality education program called "Love Talks" is being implemented with amazing results.
