This hearing before the Senate Select Committee on Nutrition and Human Needs began with opening statements by a number of senators. Kramer, director, Services to the Aged, Henry Street Settlement, New York City; Ivan Simonsen, director, Senior Services, Western Idaho Community Action Program; and, the Hon. John B. Martin, Commissioner, Administration on Aging. Appended to these presentations are a number of miscellaneous articles, publications, and tables submitted both by the above witnesses and by the National Council on the Aging, Inc., the National Retired Teachers Association, the American Association of Retired Persons, the Bread and Law Task Force, Burlington, Vermont, and other organizations.
