Christmas Trees, Carols, and Santa Claus: The Dichotomy of the First Amendment in the Public Schools and How the Implementation of a Religious Policy Affected a Community.
Brown, Marc W.
Journal of Law and Education, v28 n2 p145-92 Apr 1999

Proponents had an uphill struggle, since many constituents found nonreligious Christmas assemblies and displays acceptable. This article highlights Williamsville's Free Exercise and Establishment clause battles. (281 references) (MLH)
