This guide describes methods by which an educator can establish a program of career awareness for the educable mentally handicapped student using project SPICE (Special Partnership in Career Education) modules. The first of two sections provides an overview of the SPICE program. Specific topics included are peer facilitation, community career consultants, career-oriented on-site experiences classroom instruction, student project, program objectives, and program participants.
