This annual bulletin, formerly prepared and published by the National Association of State Universities, has been published by the Bureau of Education for the past 16 years. The data given are taken from reports received from the offices of the presidents of the various institutions, and the figures printed are substantially as given in those reports. There have been so many calls in recent years from the state institutions for information concerning tuition and other fixed annual charges that it seems desirable to include in this bulletin a table containing this information. The table includes figures for arts and sciences, medicine, dentistry, law, and pharmacy. In almost all instances the rates for other courses of study such as engineering and agriculture are the same as for arts and sciences. (Contains 6 tables.) [Prepared in the Division of Statistics.
