This directory of preparatory trade and industrial training programs in the public schools of the United States was compiled to help meet a continuing demand for current information about specific courses available in the schools. In addition to day trade programs, it includes part-time cooperative training programs meeting the standards of the respective State Plans for Vocational Education, and short-unit preparatory training courses offered on a regular basis. The directory covers all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, listing entries by State and city, and school and program in alphabetical order.
