Education 3-13, v53 n2 p252-265 2025
This study aimed to determine the motor creativity of preschoolers, to develop a music education programme suitable for the interests and needs of children, and to investigate whether music education is effective in motor creativity. A quasi-experimental design was used to test the effect of music education programme on children's motor creativity. The study group was determined by random sampling method and a total of 82 children were included in the study group. In the study, the Thinking Creatively in Action and Movement was used as a data collection tool. A music education programme was prepared to be implemented in two sessions per week for eight weeks. As a result of the study, it was seen that there was a statistically significant difference in favour of the post-test in the fluency sub-dimension of the children in the experimental group included in the Music Education Program.
