The Cognitive Vocational Maturity Test-Duties subtest was completed by 180 12th graders and 172 11th graders (who were retested in 12th grade). Their teachers rated appropriateness of 11th graders' career choices. Test scores correlated significantly with teacher ratings, grade point average, and planned educational level, but not with self-knowledge scores. Convergent and discriminant validity of the test was supported. (SK)
