Teachers and administrators are often at a loss as to where they should turn for practical, down-to-earth assistance in the area of parent conferencing. The counselor is in a position to provide such assistance, and several strategies are presented which are available to this mental health specialist. The counselor is provided with a working knowledge of a parent conferencing model which can be used to conduct staff development activities for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.
