Presents rationale for teaching resource conservation in home economics education with emphasis on voluntary simplicity as the life-style of the future and suggests fifteen teaching techniques to increase learner awareness of such problems as the energy shortage, rising cost of energy, and the manner in which energy is distributed among income groups.
