This publication provides projections of statistics for elementary and secondary school and institutions of higher education. Projections for the 10-year period from 1970 to 1980 are made for enrollments, graduates, teachers, and expenditures. Based mainly on 1959-60 to 1969-70 data, these projections assume that the past 10 years' trends in enrollment rates, retention rates, class sizes, and per pupil expenditures will continue through 1979-80.
