Differences in Leadership and Co-Curricular Perception among Entering Male and Female Asian-Pacific-American College Students.
Liu, William M.; Sedlacek, William E.
Journal of the First-Year Experience & Students in Transition, v11 n2 p93-114 1999
The University New Student Census was administered to 376 Asian-Pacific-American (APA) incoming freshman students at the University of Maryland (College Park) and analyzed for differences concerning leadership and college expectations. Results suggest that definitions of leadership may need to be expanded to include the various ways leadership is exercised in this population. Some gender differences were found. (DB)
