The ecosystem model was used to assess student perceptions of certain aspects of residential life at a large university. Over 70 percent of questionnaires were returned. From the data, aspects of the environment were changed according to student recommendations. A great need for more information communication was found. (RPG)

Surveyed 78 students to examine the nature of physical and verbal abuse experienced by students who filed judicial complaints. Verbal abuse was the most common, while 24 percent reported pranks, property damage, or physical abuse. Over one-third of the students reported being pressured to drop charges. (JAC)

Surveyed 50 resident assistants and 46 dormitory residents in the fall and spring to examine changes in their perceptions of the resident assistant's role. Results showed that, while a substantial number of RA functions became less important to both groups over the year, supervisory functions became more important. (JAC)
