Herndon Elementary School: 1986-87 School Report.

This report from the Herndon Elementary School in Atlanta (Georgia) provides information on student achievement for the 1986-87 school year. The narrative presents 25 findings concerning enrollment, attendance, reading achievement, and math achievement. Conclusions and recommendations generated from these findings are the following: (1) test scores demonstrated the capability of students at this school to perform at and above grade-level expectations and national achievement norms; (2) continued attention to achievement indicators will allow the school to sustain and improve these levels; and (3) the present leadership, staff and planning will allow the school to continue to make progress toward student achievement goals.
