Study examined perceived levels of burnout in male and female coaches of women's teams at two-year colleges. The Maslach Burnout Inventory measured emotional exhaustion, personal accomplishment, and depersonalization. Female coaches reported significantly higher levels of emotional exhaustion. Data analysis did not help clarify reasons for gender differences in coach burnout. (SM)
