The "NMC Horizon Report: 2013 Museum Edition," is a co-production with the Marcus Institute for Digital Education in the Arts (MIDEA), and examines six emerging technologies for their potential impact on and use in education and interpretation within the museum environment: BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), crowdsourcing, electronic publishing, location-based services, natural user interfaces, and preservation and conservation technologies. Key trends and significant challenges in the museum sector are also identified. A list of participants of the NMC Horizon Project: 2013 Museum Edition Advisory Board is included.
