The Task Force on Literature of the San Francisco State University Commission on Human Relations conducted a literature search on human relations and discrimination issues on United States college campuses. Sources included the ERIC database, DATATIMES, "Chronicle of Higher Education," local newspapers, Knight-Ridder wire service reports, and college commission reports. The Task Force found significant gaps in major research areas concerning such topics as discrimination of the disabled. Included in this report are lists of identified resources (with over 100 citations from the ERIC database), many with annotations. The scope of the literature search included racial discrimination, ethnic discrimination, sex discrimination, and religious discrimination. Almost 40 sample news reports are also included, mostly from the San Francisco State University "Golden Gater" and the "San Francisco Chronicle." (JDD)
