Fifty-four male undergraduates who has benn elected to Phi Beta Kappa were compared with 67 nonPhi Beta Kappas of approximately equal intellectual ability and with an unselected sample of undergraduates, using the California Phychological Inventory. These comparisons furnished the opportunity to interpret the personological correlates of superior academic performance. (Author)
