Presents four roles appropriate to professional organizations in using technology in career development: clarifying the meaning of technology in career development; identifying the counselor's role in technology; encouraging appropriate preparation of counselors in the use of technology in career development; and stimulating attention to the ethical issues and problems generated by technology.
