The Labor Force Patterns of Divorced and Separated Women
Grossman, Allyson Sherman
Monthly Labor Review, 100, 1, 48-53, Jan 77
Statistics in this study demonstrate that, on average, separated women are more likely than divorced women to have children and to have lower levels of education, employment, and income. Nevertheless, divorced women are not well off either, particularly when their high labor force participation rate and comparatively low family income are considered. (TA)
