This report is organized into seven chapters. Chapter One, an Introduction by Joseph C. Grannis, includes the most relevant sections of the proposal made by the Columbia Classroom Environments Project (CCEP) to Project Follow Through in August 1970. Chapter Two is an Analysis of the Child Behavior Stream Observations from the Spring 1971 Study of Four Programs by Joseph C. Grannis and David E. Jackson. Rochelle Mayer's and Elaine Casey's Progress Report of BORIS Observations is included in Chapter Three. BORIS is a child-based observation scheme which is designed to obtain information about a child's pattern of interactions with teachers, peers, and materials. Chapter Four is a discussion of Involvement Ratings in Settings by Michael Greene and Fay Logan. Chapter Five is an Analysis of the Spring Behavior Stream Data of Teachers by Sally Kaminsky and Frances Aversa. An analysis of the CCEP 1971 Social Context Data by Walter Furman and Peter Shaw is included in Chapter Six. Chapter Seven is a discussion by Joseph B. Roberts, Nancy Gropper, Leonard, and Carole Oligario on Research Procedures in the Pupil Role Interview Study. (JM)
