Westheimer) examines how students interact with teachers and negotiate the existing social order; (4) "High School Reporting of Services to Students in 1987/88: The High School Log" (K. E. Gerics) examines the different modes of operation of four academic programs in which student schedules were grouped together; (7) "The Dropout Prevention Initiative Jobs Program: Perceptions of At-Risk Students" (D. C. Willis and C. M. Springer) examines the impact of a work experience program; and (8) "Case Studies of the DPP Teams in Two High Schools" (S.
