Data were obtained from the annual United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Questionnaire. Specific information is provided for each UNCF campus on: 1983 enrollments and enrollments at UNCF institutions annually since 1979; fall 1982 and 1983 freshman enrollments and admissions; high school rank for entering freshmen for 1982 and 1983; undergraduate and graduate enrollments by sex; transfer students for fall 1983; geographical distribution of students by state; regional enrollment distribution; enrollment of students from principal UNCF campaign cities; foreign students by nation; total full-time equivalent faculty by race and degrees, 1982-1983 and 1983-1984; faculty turnover and tenure; percentage faculty distribution by division (field); average faculty salaries; total degrees granted, 1982-1983; degrees granted by major; dual-degree engineering students at 24 UNCF institutions; dual-degree engineering participating institutions; financial aid allocations, 1982-1983; institutional costs, 1983-1984 and projections for 1984-1985; fund revenues and expenditures; percentage distribution of funds by type of expenditure; percentage distribution of funds by source of revenue; and endowments.
