The relationships between demographic trends, student characteristics (age, ethnic background, marital status), enrollment trends, and demand for on-campus and off-campus housing are examined. Effects of availability of housing on enrollment are also discussed. Institutional policy implications are outlined. (MSE)

A brief overview of faculty housing assistance programs in California and the United States is given. Any campus embarking on a faculty housing program must look at a number of factors and should counsel faculty so they may be informed consumers. College housing programs must be responsive to market changes. (MSE)
